About Blikko
Blikko was established in 2006 and marks 20 years in 2026. The business draws on over 35 years of experience in the sheet metal trade.
As a tinsmith, I focus on understanding what the job requires and finding a suitable solution. Sometimes the right approach is to make something new to measure; at other times, what is already there can be repaired or adapted.
Blikko is a sole proprietorship. When you get in touch, I am the person who looks into the job, considers the options and carries out the work. This means you deal with the same tradesperson from the first conversation until the work is finished – including when details need to be clarified along the way.
Prices and agreements
The price depends on the work involved. Some jobs, particularly small jobs with a clear scope, can be carried out for an agreed fixed price. Other jobs are charged by time spent. Materials and any transport costs are additional unless included in the agreed price.
Agreed fixed price
When the scope is known in advance, a total price for the job can be agreed. What the fixed price includes is clarified before work starts.
Hourly work
For work charged by time spent, the hourly rate is NOK 800 excl. VAT (NOK 1,000 incl. VAT). The hourly rate covers labour and is not necessarily the total price of the job.
Materials and transport
Materials and any transport and parking costs are charged separately unless included in the agreed price. Any additional charges are clarified in advance.
